The 2019 SFNL Pre Season Competition is upon us once again with Football & Netball matches to take place at the George Gordon Oval, Dareton, this coming Saturday, March 30, 2019.
Our Netballers will kick the day off at 11am participating in a Fast 7 style of netball, which is a change up from the previous years Fast 5 format. This year, all 7 positions on the court will be filled, with the addition of a rolling sub to allow greater court time for all players.
Netball will also undertake a round robin competition, will multiple games throughout the day, with the top finishers in both pools, playing off in the finals.
Our Footballers will take to the field in a full dress rehearsal for the 2019 season in game 4, commencing at 2:45pm against Imperials. Expect to see new recruits Mitch Pemberton and Zac Smith in action while returning players, including Ryan Muir (pictured above), Nathan Mole and Jerry Wilson will also take to the field with a number of our up and coming juniors and stalwart regulars.
